OVERALL OPINION
I said that it is the only ribbon mic I've used so far. Also I did that for a month, my opinion is not that of an expert in ribbon mic.
Anyway, I'm super happy with my purchase.
I tested it on vocals, guitar and bass amps, percussion and classical guitar. Each time, the sound is full, thick, soft, punchy (if the source is) and super "natural" if a little dark.
The sound is clear even if you do not feel the characteristic detail (and often unnatural) condenser microphones. For cons, I never felt lacking in the treble. All my struggle with this microphone easily found their way into the mix with almost no EQ.
In short, the four musicians that I recorded with this mic have hallucinated the sound of their instrument!
