Zildjian A Rock Ride 21''

I play this cymbal for a few months after buying it used on Ebay. The least we can say is that it is aptly named: it has a lot of sustain, and is very powerful, so much so that I had the tape slightly (below) for the "calm" little. The bell is large, we may not miss it, the sound is quite acute, but the sound, although powerful, is still defined and manageable. The game on the body is also very active but remains quite manageable, provided we have a little experience. It's a ride that sounds very good and appropriate music to "tough", if you play jazz finesse, it is better to choose another. Well, I like it because it has body and is accurate, but it is a bit too powerful for the musical context in which I am (again pop and rock at moderate volumes). My Ride Sabian HH medium is more suitable, but less enjoyable on the bell. Super cymbal anyway, unbreakable and improves with time, as all Zildjian I think he said.
I revise my opinion after a more intensive use of this beautiful cymbal: I had taped lightly because it seemed too powerful, but I finally turned this cursed tape, and I have much more tightly on his cymbal stand without forcing too much either, not exaggerate all the same, but say that now she does not "balancing" anymore, and there, since I began to discover its full potential, with his admittedly powerful, but precise and very musical, if only one happens to be assayed the hit, so much so that I'm pretty sure it should be very good for jazz too ....... In short, this cymbal sounds beautifully, you just learning about it and tame it, so I began my grade because she deserves ......... Moral: it is man who makes the sound, not the instrument, once humbling for me .........
