I've never had the manual and no internet at the time so system D.
Sampling on this machine has always amazed me: This is supposed to be the 12-bit and yet a great precision in the samples.
Automatic search of the ideal point of closure. - And trigger the attack of the sound.
Time-stretching was well rotted yet ... Number of tubes in the 90's were done with this so typical (CJ Bolland, Armand Van Helden, Massive Attack to name a few)

OVERALL OPINION
I long ago ... It is good place in my rack expanders. I understand that some people are looking for the S-950 for its "grain". I have identified three fundamental qualities:
Ease of use.
Possibility of producing sounds completely crazy from scratch.
Separate outputs + big dynamic in terms of volume.
5 number one club with him. Truly a great machine!
