Features available anywhere else
7 for two from that synth ... 3 / 4 would have been perfect.

UTILIZATION

General rather simple configuration, the ability to rename patterns to avoid getting lost.
All functions are directly accessible, it's simple, a function equivalent to pottard ... For others, there has to be guided in the sub-menu, which are quite simply listed.
The manual does not serve me almost ...

SOUNDS

Making minimal techno, I find the bass lacking a little punch, if not a dedicated instruments to be played keyboards are not all good, it takes a little tweaking to get good.

However, these problems are not serious at all, thanks to the ability to import new tools via the smart card media.

The Electribe sounds good, the sound is clean on this side of it is great, however, realism is not there and luckily for you as the name suggests, this is an "elec" tribe.
The most commonly used effects such as reverb and delay are other very well for me.
The "Saw" is the sound of keyboard the most convincing, there is also 5thlab octbass as well as for others, it takes a hack.
The percussion is very good, apart bass (kick) that as previously stated lack of punch.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 5 months, the opportunities are huge, I like the grip and quick instinctive proposed by korg, I have not tried other models from the more archaic electribe.
Like all groovebox, the Electribe esx must be supplemented by at least one other machine.
If you hesitate between ESX and EMX, I advise all the ESX that it remains open to any other type of machine, the EMX running more self-sufficient, no sampler ..
