UTILIZATION

I confess I've never used drum machine before .. I want to actually learn to drum lines. I use Reason and Live in parallel.

For me cest tool ideal for beginners, to see progress because the machine is accepting new sounds so he can put the sound bank of norman cook for drum kits or NS KIT ... Warning sounds are good basic book for the most!

I admit at the beginning to have regrets the purchase because I was talking about so many other groove box ... but finally after having read the manual (this manual fucking great !!!!! jai almost all included) but have tried in stores (thank you universe sounds!), well I better understand how to create my own line battery, so I grew .. cétait order!

Super easy to handle, not really I'm happy for my use, very intuitive cest to create new lines of batteries that sound live! in addition we can add our sounds and thus further increase the "quality of the machine" in general.

Really very good machine to learn in my opinion

SOUNDS

The sound of drums and other instruments / synth are very good but I wish that I knew better, all is not equal, the BD and the kicks are great, the sections Hip Hop R & B are very well ... but they need more HIT HAT different, like for the percussions and handclaps ... so I'll meter of this norman cook and plug sound vol3.

I find such Section jungle too simplistic but I'll put my own sounds.

other sections Electro, Techno are very well .. just a little regret on some HIt Hat and Hand Clap ... but hey maybe I chipotte lai and I already said (I repeat myself!)

Not everything is of equal quality in the effect section .. sorry but there are better, a reverb with two parameters to be set .. cest poor, the more it adds a lot of breath ...

The compressor is not bad (javoue jen said that trouble in the beginning so I retired!), I love the effects, however, 'talking' 'RingMod' 'BMPDelay' and grain shifter, which is probably the BPM delay the two tools most fun ...

But be careful you say that two parameters / knobs for effects that wonder just cest more settings! at the same tps this leaves more room to live ....

However, I must admit that if handled without exaggeration, the effects rajoutent something really interesting to her .. So all is not negative and it is not a blocking point for me ... Some effects are interesting ... Once again we must 'users with little force and you get a nice sound like any ...

The lights add a lot to her, it gives a beautiful effect analog .. must not be abused again, do not get too saturated and otherwise it distorts the sound too much but frankly it's great! I use it all the time!!

The sound in general is top, I put Reason and live, my sound starts and then starts the groove box and I must say the sound is good, warm, dynamic and very clear ... a lot of kicks, BD slap!

In recent weeks, I added a few sounds in the box of PLUG SOUND Vol 3 (drums), and the result is worth it!

OVERALL OPINION

Of more than 2 years and then, what else to say if a machine nest that cest super intuitive, with back to basics really need to get started and even more, really very good for live as if to make his songs a head rest ... couple this machine has a Reason, Cubase or Live, and you make great stuff!

The filter section 'bandpass' etc. is really very good quality ... I MyMusic like crazy with ...
