Newcomer to the electronic instrument world, Tangible Instruments is teasing a portable hardware arpeggiator and sequencer.

Called Arpeggio, this new compact instrument gives you the ability to compose and play melodies wherever you want, wether you are at home or on a trip. Following are the first details announced by Tangible Instruments for their very first product:

  • Create and save sequences in real time
  • Up, up-down, down, down-up and random arpeggiator modes
  • Chain together up to 512 user arpeggio patterns
  • Internal 2-oscillator virtual analog monophonic synth
  • Adjust note lengths and add rests into your sequence
  • Connections: USB port, 1/4" & 1/8" audio out, MIDI in/out, CV/gate out
  • Gate in/out for syncing to analog gear
  • Control external hardware and software synths
  • Built-in speaker
  • AC & battery powered
