« Epiphone SG-400 »
Published on 09/02/02 at 15:00Bought it for 459.00 canadian at Jimi's in Montreal, Québec, Canada.
Had the choice between this brand new SG or a used Gibson SG at 1200.00
The choice was easy to make.
Love the neck, the finish (cherry), the sound... surprised myself to realise I had been playing for over an hour without any kind of distortion.
Than I fired the Peavey Pro Fex II, and wow!!!
Never heard the phone ring......
Nothing so far.
Top quality! Great finish...at least 1/8 of an inch of clear coat!
Great Gibson designed pick-ups.
Beautyfull pearl inlays.
No flaws.
I presently own a 1966 Goya 101R, a 1988 Usa Fender Strat HM , I once owned a Standard Usa Strat, a Les paul Studio...etc...
But I have to admit that this is the first time
that when I'm not playing my Epiphone SG-400 , I just sit there and admire it resting on its stand!
I have been playing guitar for over 36 years, and can honestly say that with this Epiphone SG-400 I finally found my true love!
