Electrostatic condenser microphone, outside the built-in battery powered, phantom power is required for its operation, tensions will be accepted from 9 to 52 volts. The body unscrews almost in the middle to provide access to the 9 volt battery and the capsule. It is a big shame that the polarities have not been clearly identified. In a rush, we may charge the battery upside down...
The compact casing is very rigid metal, it features, built-in switch commissioning of food.

OVERALL OPINION

The fineness of the transmission is largely ahead of the intrinsic qualities of a voice. Grain and precision are the adjectives that come to mind in operation. More sensitivity is very good, there is no lack of gain, particularly high level allows significant differences in dynamics.
Apart from voice, many other sources fit the profile of this sensor, brass, strings, small percussion. Making a piano sound can enjoy the clarity achieved by the microphone, provided that they do not work near the ropes.
It's a good mic too difficult to use live, plus it is very robust ..
