I use these mics for ambience in overhead or acoustic instruments. Also be used to report the taking of atmosphere, this micro've always done its job honestly. CHRE frankly not for a couple of static kit is almost perfect:
The two-body microphones
Cardio-two capsules
Omnis-two capsules
Two-suspensions
Of elastic-suspension parts for
all in a solid suitcase trs. It would certainly more than rglette to the XY or ORTF couples to be on top! (Neuman, take a leaf out of your prsentation 184 km of cardboard shabby!)
OVERALL OPINION
For a year I see a pair of c4. Paralllement I also have a pair of Neuman Km 184. So I could make some comparisons. the C4 to do well. I would say that these pickups are pretty close even though the Km 184 is a bit over the top of finesse and roundness at the bottom. The C4 gnre lgrements of breath that my KM184. The difference is actually quite low. regarding the restitution of nuances, as it seems to me that I can Chill of difference between the two even if my preferences MODELS goes KM184 (but hey it must be possible pay ...). Be careful, these same pickups are fragile and the quality of lctronique seems possible problem. For my part, I have one now that a year of use APRS spit, it's price information welds deffectueuses .... Too bad.
I would do the same choices as these microphones hsiter really do a great job for their price.
