Published on 05/22/14 at 10:33Amp with transistor 2HP 12 "
Power: 120w
Effect: 1 clean channel / 1 channel with the drive accentuable switch "more drive" and "mid contour" 1 + spring reverb
Connectors: 1 footswitch jack (included in the amp), 1 PRE OUT and PWR IN to the effects loop
UTILIZATION
The configuration is simple (EQ: bass / middle / treble)
Each channel has its own settings.
Nothing complicated in this. You connect, you play
SOUNDS
The sound is pretty good.
I for one appreciate the clean channel on this amp. I play it with an Epiphone Studio lespauls pretty old and this amp can give a little more clarity to micro tired of this guitar.
I also play on this amp with a Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster Custom freshly reworked by a luthier (mechanical, bridge, bridges, settings), and it is sending, that twang ... (I'm waiting to test it on a lamp. End of parenthesis)
Level sound clean sound is good. nothing transcendent good but it's clean and it shines.
In its saturated level where we will have to listen for yourself either you love or you like it.
Many people will tell you that the crunch is deguelasse or otherwise. For my part I play with this amp punk, so it pushes the very bottom and before. I used to play with effects pedals distortion, I came back to the amp.
What you should remember is that this is a crunch unpretentious, but it is always helpful. just know the deal. It's like always.
the footswitch toggles clean / crunch and another switch toggles drive and more drive mode.
against the mid contour is not manageable from the footswitch. This is stupid ...
Volume level, it should not worry about not being heard. I put 2 in repeats rarely more than 3 concert.
I've never tried to push it above 5.
The reverb is really limit against ... (after we like it or not like)
OVERALL OPINION
I use it regularly (weekly rehearsals & concerts) for 3 4 years now.
he never wavered, it works fine except the small low cost jack provided for the footswitch but it is the result of poor human manipulation ... We will not blame him too ...
overall I'm pretty happy. a 250 amp bullets that you can drag around, it's solid (a bit heavy), it sounds and it is stable so it's a very good point.
I not repeat the purchase because I now have a larger budget that will allow me to turn on my head lamp and an orange cab.
