OVERALL OPINION
It is a small beast of 100W RMS, a dozen kilos, just over two high and wide HS80M Yamaha side by side, made for me in 1979 in the USA.
Slightly different model of the other Mini-Teeny, but without special notification, because it has a distortion knob integrated with its own independent volume perched on the input volume.
Basic connections, active and passive input, output line and output cab. external, and can connect a footswitch pedal to activate or not the distortion and reverb, while Jack 6.35.
The correction of the sound is with a knob of Bass, Treble another, plus a tri-selector Dark / Middle / Brite.
Reberb the spring has its own level. And it sounds!
Jazz-oriented rather, like any self-respecting Polytone, this little combo is suitable for both ... that bass guitar! Wee!
The bass is full, round, warm and purring, but may as well snap, shine. Jazz is played with if you will, and based on its low and its settings can sound Dub, Pop, Rock ... with a Rickenbacker with a pick, eh eh. Jazz Bass with the fingers, ouh ouh ... In short, the sound is there, at least one I was looking for ages, after exhausting more or less everything that combo is as low or claiming as such, I am is now fully satisfied with the sound ... What I play is what I mean! It's never too late!
Power side, despite the astonishing size, and HP 12 "and displayed his versatility, the internal 60W (100W with a Cab. External) look nothing like the 60W" present "of a combo in fashion of the moment ... Here we agree to play, and drummer too! The sound is so clean and defined, in small configuration (drums + guitar) I never exceeds 2. Impressive!
Hard to find, easy to use and carry, this little combo is a rare perfect for who love the sound of their bass and who like to play alone. I doubt its usefulness in the Metal machinchose or with a wooden shovel madeinchina Ikea. For others, happiness is assured. If one day you pass in an attic, in a friend, try it, you will not waste your time!
