Published on 04/08/13 at 10:18Module 2U half-rack with 4 pre-amps near the pre-amps (therefore without EQ) neve 1081.
Per 1 transformer, there are at least 2 of the 1081 original, and I believe that bypasses the transformer is on-line entries.
See website builder for connectivity, very complete in any case exept the absence of input jack 6'35.
reverse polarity, low Impedence switch, etc. etc..
UTILIZATION
This is a pre-amp anything!
SOUND QUALITY
Name blue, there is low! This is what I have more guts so to speak.
This is an exellent preamp, I say more? It's nevesque, this fishery is huge, "fat" as they say over there. Go, I say "larger than life"
OVERALL OPINION
I just find it secondhand, I used live session on sax, clarinet and accordion. Ben is well! Even when I took the time to compare it to my telefunken 676, he brings more bass, but is otherwise the same quality.
I wonder how it compares to a 1081 vintage or modern. Even when C is really cheaper, and they cut the budget of the transformers!
But as it sounds, it sounds! and c is gaining ...
