UTILIZATION
it is easy to configure, drivers work well on mac, no worries on that side of.
The manual is well done.
SOUND QUALITY
this is where I was disappointed that I did not keep the bike, I compared with a great river MPN-1V live and it's just the day and night, the sound is fuller and warm with the MPN-1V. More power Neve preamps that I could never turn up the gain on pain to saturate my MIDAS table or firewire sequencer. eg setting a 55 DB gain with 20dB pad switched for AEA R84 ribbon, I can not even explain to you not with other mics .... Well it is true that it is not in the same price 4 great river will cost double the AMS 4081 ....
OVERALL OPINION
Well I quickly returned the Neve, and even if the sound is good I prefer to orient myself on a stereo preamp but better quality.
I do not have that choice.
