Cloud Microphones showcases at Musikmesse the new version of their Mic Activator Cloudlifter CL-Z box.
The Cloudlifter CL-Z Mic Activator takes place between your condenser or ribbon microphone and the preamp, and uses the +48V Phantom Power of the preamp to solve issues that can occur with the signal of these types of microphones.
The Cloudlifter CL-Z employs a discret JFET circuit and provides several controls to adjust the impedance between 150 Ohms and 15k Ohms, the output level (+12 to +24dB) and the built-in low-cut filter (20Hz – 250Hz) which can be used to clean up the signal before it enters the preamp circuit.
The Cloudlifter CL-Z is equipped with XLR input and output.
The Cloud Microphones Mic Activator is available in stores for $299. You’ll find more information at cloudmicrophones.com.
