Renowned for its tube gear, Tl Audio was released two identical sets the connection level settings and appearance except that one was blue, the Indigo series lamps and the other red, the Crimson series transistors.

UTILIZATION

The four preamp 3001, includes rear 4 XLR microphone inputs, 4 outputs -10 dB (jack) and 4 outputs + 4 dB (XLR). Front panel for each input, selectable gain, volume, 3 switches for phantom power, low cut and phase reverse. There is a childlike simplicity to use.
However, it is really necessary to use the XLR output to enjoy the potato this preamp, the other being a bit feeble.
I 'was using magneto directly input and input converters when ordis replaced magnetos, and other barbarians Adat machines!

SOUND QUALITY

I used to record almost everything that exists with a plethora of microphones, often preferring to preamp more expensive lamps. In fact, this is the kind of thing that is completely forgotten until it is no longer in the rack.

OVERALL OPINION

I used it professionally for fifteen years and I am separated when I stopped doing studio full time. Since then, I still miss a few entries preamp.
