Value For Money : Excellent
Preamp + EQ (trident) + Stereo Compressor everything.
Is the transistor, but very good.
Input 2-XLR (mic + line) and Jack assym + DI input on the front.
Output XLR and Jack assym.
2U

UTILIZATION

Usage is classic.
The preamp: 60dB gain and 48vlts for the mic and 20dB of gain for the Line.
EQ is next to a filter at 50Hz, a Bass (60 or 120Hz) a LMF and HMF semi-parametric (no Q) and HF (12kHz or 8KHz) all + /-15dB.
Compressor: gain (preamp gain), Attack, Release, Ratio, and MakeUp (output). No Threshold, you have to play with the gain and frankly it's not annoying.
Buttons and switch high quality but a bit narrow. We must take it easy!
Simple manual but there is no discourse on the subject ...

SOUND QUALITY

The preamp is a classic (I think it's Burr Brown!) Its very clean and the distortion is interesting.
The EQ is very good. The choice of frequencies and very musical, is the British (a boost at 60Hz and your Kik is very big!).
The compressor takes more practice but its possibilities are truly amazing. For the drums is very cool.
You can really crush while keeping the bottom of the attack (something rare in this price game). To compress a mix, that's fine too (especially with the help of the EQ).
A small problem for stereo link. We must respect the settings on both sides and even the stereo balance ratio and the make-up.

OVERALL OPINION

It is a machine that I test for a week. I had the opportunity to try it in preamp in stereo compressor (for the drum or a mix) in mono compressor (guitar, vocals).
It's a good machine complete and well versatile. The combination EQ + COMP gives very good results.
A very good value for money.
I'll keep it.
