Model Rack 19 '1 u midi in out thru output jack L / R input jack L / R
254 sounds retro divided by category (water, coffee, etc ...)
8 drum kit (TR808 TR909 etc ...)
all parts of 8 and 28 voice polyphony
The issue is delicate ... If you use a soft type cubase, the Mixermaps will be a good utilitée. However the practice of sysex messages is strongly recommended. Be aware that due to the lack of front controller and display type radio alarm clock, many parameters are accessible only by noon. That's all con but you can not change the type of chorus or reverb without sysex ... There are 2 x 127 sounds and I confess myself a little taken the lead for the bank change messages, the controller 32 is not enough (for the insiders ...)
Found in the many sounds boiboite découvers thanks to JM Jarre, Vangelis and other Genesis ...
UTILIZATION
Well, let's say that the use is not the strong point of the beast. We can still change the front several parameters: patch implements sending midi channel reverb and chorus, and so on of the best.
Black dot display ...
The manual will not be a big help Ormis the list of patches and MIDI Implementation ...
I personal driver and cubase studio via a dedicated Mixermaps (found on the web a small program that will give you the sysex messages from the implementation of codes of noon).
I live with an old driver simply GEM WS1 workstation that allows me and the rapid recall of different patches ...
SOUNDS
In fact when you buy this one is either a cuckoo bit of techno (but I think a lot of software synthesizers can be replaced), or an old progressive rock fan like me ...
Amateur mellotron, moog taurus pedal bass and other Oberheim, welcome to you!
This material helped me with a record budget (€ 79 a good deal ...) to have a sound that sounds good vintage ... Found in the animal sounds of hammond B3, which have their charm but not worth the sounds of a CX3 I have also ...
Sounds kind of sound good drumkits "Equinoxe" JM Jarre ...
OVERALL OPINION
I own this beast for 7 months and I must say that I pulled the larmichette to my bass player. It's cheap, it sounds that inspire and especially with water sounds like ...
Attention when used with a sequencer, you have to calm down a bit ...
In fact the machine has 28 voice polyphony and patch some are as beautiful as Gourma, up to 3 channels per note ...
My bass player is connected it via a midi merge to control it with a Fatar pedal organ ... And it sounds the Moog Taurus to crack all the windows of the house ...
