I set click/count in record lets say, a bass line, & when I review what has been recorded, the notes begin before where the count in started (shown as white) and the rest of the notes are well out of sync.

Please help.

your version of cubase has some serious midi bugs.
update your software, get to version 2.2.0.39 (the last one before sx3)
