hi,

i have just bought a crate gtx212 amp and have a question

I want to record it using lineout into my desk...but it doesnt have one(no headphones either)!!

so i need to know, can I send the signal from the external speaker out into my desk..bearing in mind taht it is already amplified??

can i do that.

also, what about the effects loop, can i send it from that..i guess that will kill the speaker on the amp? and is there a way to send the signal back from the desk to amp to complete the loop and have signal to desk and hear the amp?

DO NOT HOOK THE SPEAKER OUT TO YOUR MIXER!!!! You'll blow your mixer channel.

You should be able to use the effects send to your mixer without cutting the speaker out.
