there is a massive library displayed in the EQ section of the recorder ,however,i want to tweak the signal (mainly guitar and banjo) to my own tastes..ideally this would happen on a pre-set before i lay a track down..when i work according to the manuel its just not happening that way..so im stuck with factory pre set or flat EQ ..it s a fine machine but this bump in the road is throwing me for a loop..have you worked with one? thanks for responding..r

randolph-

Exactly what recorder do you have? I did a search on yamaha pa1600 and didn't find anything? Is the manual online anywhere?

The manual, incase you don't have it, is here:

http://www2.yamaha.co.jp/manual/pdf/pa/english/recorders/aw1600_en.pdf

The answer to your question is on page 52, step number 6.
