Installation: download, patch and hopla!

Incompatibilities: I use VSTS VSTis and quite basic so I have no problems of incompatibility up to date.

Manuel: There is an online wiki for this purpose, convenient, therefore, everyone can add their tips.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

Laptop: P4 3ghz - 1gig Ram - ESI QuataFire 610.

No problem with the gear, jpeux comfortable using four instances of FM7 and several other channels enchainer armored VSTS without it breaks his face.
With new updates, Renoise is more stable than before, there is even a little option to panic when you get above a certain% of cpu, very convenient in this case.

OVERALL OPINION

Spread the word, tracker Renoise is THE new generation.
While it is not oriented to live but for the hard-composition.
How to program "ala tracker" is certainly a concept rather hard up for grabs at the beginning, being a former user of FastTrack and impulsetracker so I had no problem learning to use Renoise and I think now that Renoise as a first program mao is much easier to use than cubase / logic to see Live.

Quality / price ratio? Ah ah ah, less than 50 euros at the moment I believe, do not push it at that price you have nothing ... Finally, if a lil vsti .. you plug in what?

I use Renoise for over two years, I create all my tracks in, with the mix now I can finish my tracks with (used to export to finalize another more focused on the software mixing), I do not think m 'rid of before a long time, too used to this format of composition.

Surely I would do again and again that choice, especially with new updates coming in Renoise-large-spam
