The HDSPe MADI FX features 390 audio channels, three MADI I/Os (two optical and one coaxial), redundancy mode and internal effects.
Like the standard extension board it comes with Word Clock I/O and a D-sub connector for MIDI and AES I/O.
The standard coaxial MADI I/O is replaced by an optical MADI I/O. Using the OPTO-X the HDSPe MADI FX then has three optical MADI I/Os.
