On the neck pickup I get the blues sound that I like. For other positions I find sound palettes widely expoitables.

OVERALL OPINION

This guitar was my first copy Fender, I had bought new in 79 for $ 1200F.
At the time I dreamed of a real Fender Strat and knowing there is not much I felt that the Eagle was not worth much. In fact I did not keep long.
Also must say that I had a small transistor amp to play.

This is the flea that I found recently for the modest sum of 65 €.
79 guitars since I had several, including a Fender Stratocaster, a standard of 2008, Corrona.
And well today I'm really happy to be able to appreciate this guitar to its fair value, there is wood, the pickups respond well to my expectations. She did not have much to envy the standard New Corrona in fact I much prefer it because as it ages.

EAGLE this guitar I bought in Pigalle on the advice of a friend in 1981
and frankly I'm not disappointed
I completely customized but the alder body and maple neck it sounds!
She is now 26 years old and I'm still a fan! even after playing other instruments more rewarding ...
made in Japan Ibanez plants at the time, we feel the made in Japan

UTILIZATION

The neck is super nice and has not changed since that time
varnish the handle is nickel and it is a pure pleasure to rise and fall
the guitar is a bit heavy but hey it is a guarantee of quality and sound!
vibrato was also changed to Wilkinson and sustain are won highly

SOUNDS

I turned the original pickups (very good by the way) to replace Di Marzio
2 hambucker and simple config MSM with a micro switch single / double plus a switch phase / out of phase
it really is the best!
all on one amp lamp is great Dire Straits sound is really there ...
With a lamp amp distortion is flexible and is slamming her clean

OVERALL OPINION

I play from a year 30aine above (yes .... not so young) but the fun is still there and it is the main for me
the strong point of this guitar is the ease of obtaining a sound that suits you as well as modulate your convenience
The alder body has much to do in my opinion ...
guitar easily "customizable" on mechanical, microphones, vibrato (except the wiring I have done it by a luthier)

Well, this is an old strat but not as well made these squier made in china, I just bought one and I would not trade it for anything my eagle.
especially the handle is a delight and the pickups are very good

OVERALL OPINION

I bought it new in 76 I believe! eh, not so rejuvenating ... it has some pets but nothing serious, she has lived. I have lots of other strat copies but this is the best by far.
I love the most is the handle. the least, simply nothing.

- Eagle in the year 70/80 was a "registered importer", meaning that the importer (in this case IML) was made the guitars in Japan and specifications with a brand and a logo belonging to IML.
- This guitar was manufactured in Japan and has aged rather well (I do not know when to date, but it seems it's not new)

- The handle is really great, because it is very nice polish. My bars are pretty used cargo but it's still a pleasure to play on
- Access to Acute is actually easy
- I find it really well: it is a mid-range guitar
- The sound is excellent, I love! I do not know the brand of microphones but they are really good and have aged very well

- I'm not a super level, since the beginning harmonica player but I play the blues is excellent. Friends guitarists who were able to test it loved it.

OVERALL OPINION

It must be 3 months I have
I paid € 140 At the beginning I planned to take me a squier but to be honest, I find it ten times better!
I used a joueais james spirit of my brother (guitarist confirmed) that new, cost 2100Fr (about 300 €) at the time, he found my guitar much better (his is very nice, but the boost is the is not great. A guitar instead to start)

Monitoring at cons: the varnish down the shaft slammed (small crack). The luthier said that it does not matter.
Another vendor told me that sometimes the handle breaks ... but I do not know what is this info.

In short a great guitar, very nice and very pleasant to play. Used for 140 € is really a case (knowing that in addition, provided an eagle box / hard case to carry it is really damn good: for € 140 I had with the box)

The guitar was made in Japan between 1975 and 1980. She has a pitch of 658mm with 21 frets, the neck is maple varnished (it's a flat half round), and the body color sunburst (other than black is replaced by the color Teac). The settings have the volume and 2 tone controls, and a 5-way switch, which allows for mixes sound very interesting intermediate for the particular timbre.
It is almost like a Strato (entry level), even in the details.

UTILIZATION

The handle is a feast of comfort, and it never frieze, no matter what you play. Access to acute is free and playable. In terms of ergonmie, it has the same advantages and failure of his model, nice, comfortable, and heavy. It's easy to get a sound, Flyod, Dire Straits, Clapton etc. ..

SOUNDS

I made the ride / rock, so it is what I do, I use a pedal and a Line POD6 XT Fender amp Comb FM212R.
The sound is clear, if crystalline, round, serious, balanced, and if you want distortion, it is the material for this purpose because of the clear material, impossible to make distorted. With medium strings wood vibrates when you play, and the body seems to participate in the fullness of sound.
Peculiar Blues to Jazz, Rock, Reggae, walk, etc., it is too soft to hard metal for my taste.
I love all the sounds it offers me!

OVERALL OPINION

I bought this guitar new in 1979 and she never disappointed, no defect is apparent in 27 years! What happiness!
I find it heavy when I play several hours I have back pain for the rest I will keep it in my hands all the time!
I had a Lespaul, with a round handle that I did not, and the sound did not fit my music. I had several guitars before I forget the brand, type of Strato, who did not let me a great memory.
I bought it in 1979 1200Frs at the time that a sum reprénsentait because I was still in school.
I would do 100 times that choice, and perhaps a real Strato and more!

Channel varnish with a radius of incredible playability

Mine is extremely customized:
- 5-way switch
- Micros PAF Gibson postion center
- Custom paint redone two times (one time covered with newspaper articles, the 2nd time in black inlay notes in dark purple)

OVERALL OPINION

I bought a friend of a friend in 1993 ... 100 Francs!
She was badly damaged, cracked and broken varnish, blows to the body, saddle broke, micro PAF poorly positioned, electronic re ...

I have refurbished and redecorated two times. Since then, she did let go, it's my favorite of my four guitars.

If I had to redo this choice? A guitar of this quality? 1000 times!

Guitar vintage strat perfect copy. cover money tailpiece / vibrato, slecteur 3p, beautiful sunburst finish, 3 plate thicknesses above Black, black pickups, neck Saddle varnish, with apparent trussrod type ball revover "wide head, 21 frets, m mechanical vintage. Bought on e-bazaar a few years ago for 130 all inclusive, it sounds like a vintage Start. I put a 5p slecteur and even more happiness. Does it manufactures in Japan late 70's in the same factories IBAN, she had never played for t (there were still some polish on the frets, all new ... !)

UTILIZATION

It's like a stratum, we know the comfort and precision of sound. The handle is D, I changed the saddle too coarse rang a little false matches, and everything was put back. I have a strat Japan which do not leave me yet, this is very COMPLEMENTARY Eagle, more vintage, less than medium, it rings with normment of possible shades and a very great expressiveness. RULES Although she has a very nice tone, I do not know o get these pickups, but they are very beautiful.

SOUNDS

The 3 basic positions are very beautiful, lightweight, deep and brilliant, but always with a broad spectrum that gives a lot of balance. The neck position is blues desire, very rich and good balance, the central position is rock, snapping the bridge position is, since I put the slecteur 5, pos. intermediates are very fine, very sweet, very blues / funk. this guitar is miraculous. Attention load fine AIGS hardening and tempering it will take on the amp.
Attention, as all the guitars a little vintage, they are difficult to saturate. Between my strat Japan and the latter, I have to push the gain of 2 graduations over the marshall to have the same level of crunch, and again, the record is less pais, more crisp. A be regulated.

OVERALL OPINION

It's a guitar I was looking for the ref long time and I finally found a site o it gets. Mine seems older than pictured but I'm sure the same range. I did try and rgler a (true) and luthier by musicians who know a little, and they all really enjoyed playing it, and if we did a blind test between Eagle and strat rissue or an old vintage 20 times the price, there were some surprises! I saw this guitar in photo, I fell in love and got the pot, because the era, the shopkeepers who monopolize e-bay today n'taient yet the and I could make a case, which is no longer the case today ...
Do not buy this kind of guitar to the big rock, albeit with a good amp or pedal TS9 type ... It is sized to accompany, to blues and womanizing, the Knopfler, Pink Floyd and the funky, my friends, is king.
