My dream has always been ...

Guitar made in Japan by ESP.

Its body is ash, the neck is maple and the fingerboard is ebony.
The bridge is a floyd rose original.
The pickups are Seymour Duncan SH1-n to the neck and TB4 in the bridge.
The handle is operator and has 24 frets. It is shaped and U-Thin is painted.

It has a volume button push push for micro splitter, a tone knob and a 3-position selector.

UTILIZATION

The handle is a standard in ESP: The Thin-U. On the Horizon, the handle is painted and varnished. This handle is a blessing, very nice, very well slip, access to acute nickel because of the neck-through ...

The guitar is made of ash, it weighs a little but nothing serious. It is perfectly balanced in an upright position.

The sound comes out very easily, and the few available settings (selector micro, micro split) are very easy to use.

The finish is exemplary, this guitar is beautiful to look at and great to play! A nice short white binding along the neck, head and body giving a very nice look to the guitar. More blocks are pearly tracking the most beautiful effect and perfectly match the look of the guitar.

Only slight black spot, painting of my two knobs completely disappeared after 1 year of use ...

SOUNDS

This guitar is perfect for my style metal oriented symphonic / operatic, to summarize, one could say it's a quiet strength. It is very versatile thanks to the seymour duncan pickups and splittage. In addition, ash body gives a special sound on guitar, very much appreciated.

By force alone, I mean she can just as easily send very large saturated sound in the bridge position not split, as the crystal clear sound on the neck pickup split!

The Original Pink Floyd very well also keeps the agreement, and even if the setting is daunting, its use is a treat.

I play on a Line6 SpiderValve 112 all-tube, and the sound is really a treat.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this guitar for a year and a half, and it's a treat every time out of his box to play with!

I tried a lot of model before it (for big investment), such as Prestige Ibanez or Jackson Dinky, but there is no photo, it's by far my favorite. This guitar is very versatile, excels in many areas and has a look of both "race", distinguished and sober.

Basically, it goes everywhere! My only regret is really painting the knobs that disappeared.


The price / quality ratio is good, because the ESP is really a monster! With experience, I would do much choice, and I think the horizon is the first in a long series of ESP that I would buy in the years to come!

Guitar made in Japan ... so .. TOP quality!
24 frets I think, with Floyd Seymour D Original
1 volume control (which can splitter!), 1 tone control and a button selection of microphones.
