With the knobs to adjust the guitar is easy:

Master Volume, Tone 1 (Neck center pickups), Tone 2 (bridge pickups & bridge combination-center) pickups selector 5 positions

Weight: it is relatively heavy "but I must be that small ca ...", and the weight is there no guarantee of quality? No, I know absolutely nothing.

SOUNDS

Are they suitable for your style of music?

It is ideally suited for funk, Blue Rock a bit feeble for the big metal unless you glue'' 'a good Engl but it is made for that bulge?

Since I am in an apartment and looking for a group .... I currently play on a Vox nigth now 50 and it is far from shabby sound very rock and ca fuzz when asked ....

To celebrate Fender's 60th anniversary, they released this commemorative stratocaster. It's really not that much different from any other standard American series strat, so it kinda makes me wonder what the point of it was. The guitar features an alder body, a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard, 22 frets, dot inlays, two point tremolo, three single coil pickups, one volume, two tones and a five way switch.

UTILIZATION

The guitar is pretty much what you'd expect for being made in America. The fretwork is generally pretty solid, although there are a few dogs out there. They're a bit more consistent than the Mexican ones, but the difference isn't really night and day. The ends were nice and beveled, so I didn't have any issues with cutting my hand up while moving up and down the fretboard. The neck joint had a slight gap in it, but I've seen worse. The nut was cut correctly, so no issues there.

SOUNDS

The guitar had the stock pickups in these, and I'm not the biggest fan. To be fair, they're decent pickups for a guitar that costs around this much, but I was hoping to get some better ones for their 60th anniversary strat. The bridge is a bit noisy and bright. It can do gain levels up to rock, but after that, it starts to really lose clarity and bottom end. The in between positions are great for clean and funk lines. The neck pickup is pretty cool for clean tones, although I find myself struggling on it when it comes to playing leads.

OVERALL OPINION

The guitar is pretty decent, but it's really not that different from any other strat out there. You can save money by buying a cheaper standard on eBay or craigslist. That's the way I would go. If you do buy one of these, spend some extra money upgrading the pickups. You'll get much more out of the guitar this way.

UTILIZATION

The handle is very nice, flat, fast. Access to acute is easy, flawless ergonomics, a good balance, but its main quality is the sound, with a special mention for the 5-position switch and reverse polarity in position 2 and 4, just magical. It's really the image of Fender, with a palette of sounds breathtaking.
The finish is superb, no complaints, delivered more with a briefcase + Jack + Fender Fender strap
Still a small defect, not abuse of the vibrato, which tends to tune over time.

SOUNDS

Fan of Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai, Satriani and the other, I like the big Rock the technique on the handle and the diversity of sounds, as saturated as clear, so I wanted a versatile guitar, a strat s' imposed in this choice. It does not disappoint, and it is up to its prestigious name.
A reference for serious, really impressive!
I use a Boss GT-8, impossible not to find "the sound".

OVERALL OPINION

I did the last few days, I had a '69 Stratocaster Clapton style that sounds a little less and ESP sleeping now forever in a closet ...
I tried an Eric Johnson model compared to € 2,290 taken to see the difference, I did not find any difference in sound but I preferred the Anniversary mainly because of the handle "flat".
I do not really regret my choice, it is a collector not to be missed, it will age and shall allow time for € 1,499, there is no hesitation.

Nothing to add from the previous post very complete, except for the protections that are more aged micro successful.

UTILIZATION

The handle is the way I wanted fast, easy, accessible.
Access to acute is OK for me (my other guitar is a LP Custom that I find not so good on that side).
The ergonomics are perfect, it is a pure strato. I played for 30 years on an L series and I think it's rather better (yes better than a L series).
For sound there is also a stratovolcano true, however I feel it is less powerful and versatile than the US STD, a little more typical vintage. Of course all the sounds are there: Reverse-phase crystal clear on the positions 2 and 4 that is only found on strats, the neck pickup to sound clear and flawless and the bridge can be used to everything that goes the rhythmic crunch all the solos.

I put 9 / 10 perhaps because of the memory of the L series and some US on which I played and that I wish I had all the sounds together on the same guitar. One can always dream .....

SOUNDS

I play a little bit of everything except metal and jazz.
For the Jazz should remember for sure.
It is suitable for all styles of rock, blues of the 60s to today.
For the Santana and Gary Moore even though we can say that it goes, do not count on even sustain a LP Custom and the unforgettable sound of a Gibson.
At least for the versatility it's still for me the best guitar in the world, there is the "patented crystalline strato", and fat if you have a good amp.
It remains a bit of "hum" because of the simple bobinnages but less than the L series and it has never embarrassed to keep your hands on the guitar and position myself to minimize background noise.

I used a Marshall all-tube combo, fender on a small transistor with a recent and now ToneLab SE and a 21 TECH. I like everything.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had about a year. We can not really fault signal. Can we say we do not like the fact that strata that sounds great to play 45 years of rock evolution of a failure to not sound like a LP Custom and not having the microphone of acute my ex L series??
When I tried to buy at least 25 models of strats and telecaster: going from Mexico to the US customs shop and even the highway (way too ugly).

At value for money is unbeatable.
If it again No Doubt I take it again.

This is one American classic guitar. These guitars are some the best Fender Stratocasters that has come out of Southern California in a while. The feel and tone of these guitars simply go back to the days when they were more a custom single piece guitars then what they have grown into today.

The feel of a guitar is the most important thing to me. Sure it does need to sound right but the feel will be the first determining factor in any future purchase of a guitar. One of the first things a guitarist does when he walks into a guitar shop is pick up the guitar and take a quick strum of the strings without out being plugged into an amp. You can hear the resonance and craftsmanship when hearing it unplugged.

SOUNDS

These guitars will go well with any amp you play them in. Whatever you style of music may be this guitar can easily fit into your playing style. Even though it has single coil pickups in it you get still get a great beefy tone with the right amp or distortion pedal at your feet.

I personally love the way this guitar brings back the simplicity of the electric guitar. Not a bunch of options on this guitar, but just the simple way the Leo intended it to be.

OVERALL OPINION

At new I have seen these guitars go for around $1099. That is about the right price for an American made fender. There are a lot of bells and whistles on this guitar but just a simple volume and a couple tone knobs to go along with a pickup selector.

I would recommend every guitarist out there to have at least one Fender Stratocaster in their arsenal. This is a classic guitar with a classic tone that a Gibson Les Paul, SG, or even a Fender Telecaster cannot match. Only one thing is the world sounds like a Strat and that is a Strat.

I put 6 AC remains a strat normal, delta tone I do not care. The vibrato is excellent cons

UTILIZATION

The handle is very nice and the satin finish is very smooth.
The shape, well it's a Start is ergonomically! on the other hand mine is 4 pounds! it's heavy!
For sound, it's simple: a U.S. standard in my opinion, should make it sound as this one, it sounds alone. AC has many echoes and empty it sounds typical strata on the intermediate positions.

SOUNDS

This guitar, I do not sell it (fingers crossed) it is really very endearing. The sound is always true, it sounds strata and a little better than a deluxe.
The pair of microphones placed not more vintage but has character. We can all play with: old blues, pop, rock, and funk. I play it with a Fender Super Champ XD, a pedal home Blackstar HT Dual and some other effects.
Vibrato very much like the agreement, even using it regularly, it's very nice. The electronics are very clean: oiled paper, CTS knobs ... Fender wanted to do something to something quite ahut end of this series. Custom is not well equipped but a series from the start.

I have no major defaults to do this guitar has, it adapts to all, while preserving its character, but I admit it takes to find some plans to tame is not a RG, which still sounds a bit like ...

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for close to a year. I came across an ad that has sold 800 in new condition and carry case. She is still as good as a shovel in store ...

At 1600 euros, it can be expensive. For me a standard that should be worth 900 and above 1300. I put 8 because I regret not my purchase, this guitar is awesome!
