This is a Fender American Vintage 57 special edition colored Aztec Gold.
-Alder body (of excellent quality for this model is limited)
-Nitrocellulose varnish (beautiful, but handle with care)
-Mechanical Fender / Gotoh vintage
1-ply plate (8 screws)
Micros-"American Vintage"
Channel "V" 21 boxes
-3 Knobs classic
Fender vibrato-six bridges
-Comes with 3 switch positions but the original five positions is provided and downright useful.
... So that's about it for the main features of this little wonder.
UTILIZATION
The V-neck is a marvel of sweetness and feel is absolutely sensational. All types of gambling are permitted and access to acute is decent although the maple fingerboard painted "slips" a little more than a rosewood fingerboard. But the game is very easy and feel of the guitar is perfect (in fact, Alder is a wood that makes it very light).
I note nonetheless that the employee is painted in beautiful but requires great caution and great care if you want to keep it intact. But it deserves a 10/10!
It only remains to connect the famous Stratocaster '... Surprise!
SOUNDS
While the sound ... This skyscraper is tested on a 40-watt all-tube combo.
The clean sound is absolutely fabulous and it assumes a special softness of this skyscraper, the microphones are able to provide, in an intermediate position note, its a very soft and light. But when you move up the volume sounds become funky, blues and even jazz to perfection, playing with the volume of the amp and guitar and tones.
In the crunch the beast has a truly "vintage" sounds great and blues to Stevie Ray Vaughan, Hendrix, or Budy guy. The possibilities are enormous.
For heavy distortion but can use the scratch is not for the heavy metal you will understand ... His chosen field remains for me the sounds crystal clear, and the crunch much alive.
I can therefore make a note of 9 / 10 for its versatility (not hard ...) ... but against heart because it fully deserves a good 10!
OVERALL OPINION
I have been using ... 1 day, and yes, I have not yet left for a second. As you can see this guitar is for me a jewel and the Aztec Gold finish makes it unique. In the play we find the vintage characters that give the impression of playing an instrument having something unique, a strong personality and character traits that deep inside her "your" guitar, different from your neighbors!
This choice I would do again and would advise everyone to try such a model one day ...
I confess that I do not regret my exchange against my Les Paul Standard is a great guitar but between the King and Queen Gibson Fender I must admit that I have been charmed by the queen ...
