Bought new 5290 FF (approx. 800) in 2000.

Gnrales good specifications. The finish is not bad but I clean mine compltement reception due to a thin layer of dusts on the green layer (probably rsidus paint). No default. It RULES silent well especially at the Floyd Rose.
Apart from the two single coil pickups (ie special Fender Fender Mexican Standard) all components are the same as those mountains in the United States.

I put 8 / 10.

UTILIZATION

The comfort of this guitar is absolutely standard FENDER (even United States).
Channel flowing well (taking 9 / 42 the original), but not necessarily fast. BLUES-ROCK kind Trs at the jouabilit .. battery in the style of our friend Richie.

I learned to play on a Squier Japan so I'm not necessarily trs target for ergonomics etc ... In any case, I find it really comfortable and powerful trs.

The Floyd Rose is perfectly his office and is inbranlable (still agree the hair prs).

10/10 for all that perfectly matches my expectations.

SOUNDS

My game is rather ax Heavy Rock / Metal and I found the ultimate weapon FENDER thanks to DiMarzio in the bridge and Floyd Rose parts for legato.
Its strength at the "sonoritquot; indniablement is its versatility. From the typical acute christallin FENDER goulayantes sounding single coil on the SRV or Eric Johnson ... IT can do everything (all of depends of course, the Gugus which is also in s ... o)
I am always surprised by the many possibilities it offers in all styles which I m fun sometimes jam.

Not as quiet as a guitar team of NOISELESS but trs correct all of the same on this point prcis.

Just a minor complaint in the grave or the single coils are a chouilla "imprcis" (a little rough) but it's also what makes it charming.

OVERALL OPINION

Of course, it's a Mexican, but one of the highest-end Exceeds amricaine a wide range widely in quality of sound, game ...
This is a guitar of exceptional value and offers a qualitprix trs versatility mtal sound from blues through rock, hard rock, the musette and whatnot.
A choice I Revand and I with no referrer hsitation!
A beautiful guitar FENDER j which would have given a 9.5 (if I had been!)

UTILIZATION

A dream to handle a guitar that is no longer! of freight and small ropes raproche! ideal for little fingers and shredding!

Sound very rock without getting pissed off at set thanks to Di Marzio distortion originally fitted on it! sustain in a super +

SOUNDS

This guitar suits all kind! thanks to the versatility of the microphone! I use it in my group STEEL RANGERS ( http://www.myspace.com/steelrangers )
I played on a Mesa Boogie head plugged into a single correct vintage Marshall cabinet 30! no particular effect and it sounds!
In middle position you get a clean sound crystaline sound, humbucker in your big heavy metal! Live sounds and solos!

OVERALL OPINION

I have been using since 2000 and this model is no longer manufactured! I had taken a tribute to Iron Maiden playing on the same configuration is ready! Since it myself over the years in all my projects because it is very versatile in style!
Stratovolcano with a floyd, humbucker, neck dream .. paid 5000 francs at the time I joined immediately!
Since I fitted with a neck pickup seymour duncan hot rails that gives me even more than opportunities and great sound bluesy!
The report qualitée money is incomparable! it sounds better than a U.S. trust me!
I do it again without hesitation that choice and I'll buy another even if I could!
