Designed by JW Black (a Masterbuilder Fender Custom Shop), which included the following features:
- Unique color
- Texas Special pickups modified with the pad of the G string situated below for a better tonal balance, Switch 5 positions.
- Gotoh tuners staggered Kluson-type (like the Eric Johnson Signature)
- Vibrato U.S.
- Fully electronic U.S. (knobs CTS Switchcraft selector, etc.).
- Radius 9.5 "for the key to a more low
- Medium jumbo frets, maple neck 21 frets
- Body painting isolated graphite to avoid noise
- Small silver oval sticker behind the head indicating "Limited Edition JW Black," and certificate stating the particulars of the model.
Mine is white with gold pickguard.
UTILIZATION
It is a strat, ergonomics is the appointment, it is balanced. The pickups are very effective. The extreme acute or sweeping arpeggios is not the most comfortable.
SOUNDS
I had several electric guitars: this one is really the case, it is typical blues-rock but still versatile hand the quality of its microphones and posibilities of "switchage" well its clear round (neck position) funky sound slamming in the middle and more punchy in easel whenever the intermediate positions (all positions are adjustable with the tone knobs). Warning that the rest of the single coil. My tube combo I draw what I want (Carvin xv112).
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 3 years, I have not found better value for money. Bought secondhand is the best deal I made. This is also my first strat, I've tried others, it can bear comparison-one highway, quiet player classic.
