Start U.S. manufactured in 88, bought new
Lace Sensor pickups changed to the Van Zandt Blues "
5 position selector
Stratum has the most blocks with mechanical
These lifts are REAL!
I do not play much and despite that, I can resume playing the guitar and live without it being out of tune ... awesome!
UTILIZATION
nice handle
reasonable weight of the guitar
for sound, just a jack and amp and go!
SOUNDS
With the pickups I put: yes
The guitar sounds good vacuum
The Lace Sensor pickups, original, sounded good but lacked character.
I was looking for a bluesy sound and microphones Van Zandt was a good alternative
I play this guitar on a Musicman amp of 65W (the 65-RP112)
A set that sounds for all those seeking to play its clean crunch to ..... without going beyond (m'enfin after effects must be added)
I play more on the sleeves and middle pickups
OVERALL OPINION
I have since 1989
I do not play this guitar a lot yet never really makes you want to look elsewhere
I love her "Fender" and what is that brand.
The guitar was sold relatively expensive at the time, if we judge from his principle of manufacturing "industry ".... look at the work of a luthier (because the sale price was close)
Still, I do not regret at all that guitar!
I find it hard to sell because it has always been with me for 20 years!
Only the "curiosity" (and flouze!) Would push me to add other guitars along with my Stratocaster.
