needed a new guitar
The Ibanez GRX40 is impressive.
For the money, it is a solidly built, good looking, sounding guitar.
I like the feel it has, the neck is fast.
I also like the fact that Ibanez actually makes it, instead of outsourcing the construction to another company, like some beginner guitar models are.
Also, it played good right out of the box, so to speak
No additional setup was needed
I wish it came in more colors.
The construction is good, I know people who own them 3-4 yrs old without ever having a problem.
For under $200, one of the best guitars out there/
