UTILIZATION

The handle is very nice, it's a Japanese RG anyway!

Ergonomics RG, one of the most comfortable cuts in this world!

Access to acute is ultra easy, microphones are correct.

SOUNDS

Rather a guitar for the heavy metal, rosewood fretboard, maple neck, basswood body if I'm not mistaken.

OVERALL OPINION

bug ... can be well over 10 years! I still have not put it micro worthy of the name, for the rest this guitar is perfect, probably the last series MIJ a abodable rate. The violin is perfect, the hardware is good also, gotoh mechanical easel licensed in good order.

this is actually a high end guitar with pickups and bridge means (but do their job without flinching!)

i purchased this guitar at wilcuts guitar shoppe for a little less than 500. w/ floyd rose and tuning locks

this guitar sounds great. it has 4 pickups with 5 settings on it. i think the floyd rose is a great thing to have, even thoughi went on a year without realizing the real way to tune it, once you learn or hear it from someone, its worth the time it takes. it also has tuning locks which keep your guitar in tune on road trips and in your case or wherever you go. and if it gets a little out of tune, it has fine tuners to get it just right.

ive found that there is a little sound like a metal on metal buzz when you play the low E string hard. also, the tuning locks make it a long and painful process to make it drop D or whatever other tuning you want, if you want it fast. which sucks alot.

its a heavier guitar than the fender strat or squier, but the weight is distrubuted evenly so your shoulder does good. it has a rosewood fretboard for awesome tone, and thats about it

its a good guitar and plays well, ive had it for about 2 years. ive gotten so usted to it i cant stand to play anything else, and it looks awesome on stage. a great buy, if you have patience for the floyd rose.

I bought this guitar at a half price sale at a music store new for AU$500 which is a real bargain for what I got.

I went in looking to buy a new amp but as soon as I saw this guitar I fell in love. The pewter paint job is superb, there were no blemishes. The neck is very playable. The jumbo frets were finished perfect and there is no fret buzzing. After a bit of tweaking I managed to get the locking tremolo system to work and stay in tune, I can drop the strings right down like 2 or 3 octaves and bring it back and the strings will still be in tune. The pickups are responsive and handle lows very well and the five position pickup selector allows a variety of sounds to be made.

The only main dislike about this guitar is the time it takes to change strings or tunings because of the locking tremolo although I have managed to set it up so that I can switch between standard and dropped D without unclamping. Also 2 of the pickup selections sound like an attempt at a single coil although they don't really come close but you can still get a workable sound.

Extremely well made, came out of the box set up perfectly, a very low action and the intonation is spot on. No flaws in the finish. Also it is a very light guitar so i wouldn't go jumping around on stage near anything.

I would recommend this guitar to pretty much any one. If I lost this guitar I would be back at the music store the next day buying it again for full price.

i bought this guitar at guitar center for about 445. which isnt that good of a deal first off.

the color is the only think i like the rest of the guitar is crap after you play it for a week.

mostly everything. the guitar itself looks cool but man when it comes down to the actual gutiar a no go. the first problem i had was goin out of tune every 10 minutes i mean and i play sets wit my band 4 times daily 4timesdaily.cjb.net and when it went outta town it sucked. It probably went of tune so muhc because of the floyyd rose tremolo system which sucks.next problem i had the ground wires to the pickup came loose 4 times. this sucked you have to soder them back on and then bam they just be right back off in a month.third and last was the jack wires comeing loose i guess ibanez doesnt do to good of a job putting wires on. DONT BUY THIS guitar IF you Plan ON PLAYING FOR MORE THAN 2 MONTHS.

CRAP

dont buy this guitar if you plan opn playing it for longer than 2 months

well you get a rock, metal just clean the two micro are a bit too powerful but with good adjustment I surprised silent agréble
