McREMY
« The beast »
Published on 10/29/13 at 05:46Made In Japan in 1995.
Floyd Rose Lo Pro Edge (the best in my Ibanez)
24 frets, HSH config with 5-way switch, 1 volume and 1 tone.
Basswood body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard. Sounds rather high mid focused without being too intrusive.
Original pickups: V8 V7 S1 and Ibanez. Sorely lacking punch and precision. Quickly replaced with DiMarzio ...
Just as the addition of wiring with push-pull for series / parallel neck pickup.
UTILIZATION
The handle is a total highway difficult to take in hand key (flat) when you never played a game of that type, but once you are done it's hard to get back on a handle type strat or LP.
SOUNDS
Changing pickups is a must, can tackle a bunch of style after config microphones, but not necessarily sounds hollow-body guitar (jazz-type).
To date:
DP215 EVO2 in the bridge
DP408 2 virtual workplace
DP213 paf joe in the neck (with serial / parallel push pull capacity and value different tone in the neck position system)
With it you can go to Dream Theater Pink Floyd
Most of my improvisations are recorded with this guitar on my website:

OVERALL OPINION
I bought it used, with a default selector micro as well as the bridge pickup in 2000, it dates from 1995 and is of excellent quality finish. I do not exactly know the exact purchase price, but I bought 3000frs.
Since I have, I can not find another guitar that suits me better than this. I played with that so I refrettée there seven years.
A replanif is already required ...
Nothing to say, the only downside is the sustain (pink floyd requires). To improve with brass sustain block.
