Best value:
Excellent
Channel 22 frets, 2 humbuckers and a single microphone.
Micro switch 5 positions:
- Bridge
- Bridge + middle
- Middle
- Neck + middle
- Round
Vibrato bridge floyd
One volume knob and one for tone.
The neck has jumbo frets
UTILIZATION
The handle is very nice: it's pretty late, allows good access to acute (still less a series RG).
Placed on the knees, this guitar has a good balance. It is neither too light nor too heavy.
But it is very thin (it is a S-Series> Sabre ...), which is very convenient notament live (after a little getting used to anyway).
Finally, it takes the agreement without any problems, crashes through the nut-string (and no it's not bad!)
SOUNDS
Sound side, we get a sound versatile enough (except perhaps for the funky rhythms, double mic forces), but without much personality.
I play mostly metal (mainly Vai, Satriani, Dream Theater ...).
The amp I use usually is small (20 watts), and the sound that comes out is good, but nothing more ...
But beware, connected to a good tube amp is something else! One obtains leads sublime, clear sound of madness, without adding special effects!
In general, I play with sounds leads the bridge and neck pickups, and with sounds clear position on the bridge pickup + micro environment. I rarely use the middle pickup alone, because I found out he did nothing very interesting style of music I play, but I think it might be interesting to use in blues or jazz.
OVERALL OPINION
I have been using now 3ans1 / 2.
This guitar is my second, and I must say it changed me from my previous strat, on all levels (violin, sound ...)
In addition, it has a sleek look, but at the same time it is very out on stage (at least for the purple version). The varnish is a little straw, and it's very beautiful!
For me the price / quality ratio is excellent.
With experience, I think I do it again the same choice for the same budget.
But with a bigger budget, I'll type in the high-end RG, which may correspond more to my style of music.
