Jackson DK2FF Dinky

I recently picked up the DK2FF in Calgary AB for $860 CDN (I talked him down from $950 because it was boxing day), probably about $600 US. I had been planning on stepping up from my Epiphone Les Paul to a Gibson Studio but the Jackson really caught my eye. It has an awesome fire fingerboard inlay and jumbo frets that are really fast.

For starters it looks great, the flame inlay is really unique. It's really fast, great for metal or punk, and the highly polished frets are really comfortable. The sound is pure, and the humbucker gives great sound on my Roland Cube-30. The floyd-rose is also alot easier to tune with than pegs, and it stays in tune well. Sounds amazing in all styles of music, but if you're playing metal then I would definately recommend a Jackson.

The only available colour is black, though it's still a great looking guitar. Also, it doesn't come with the allen-key required to replace strings, which is very frustrating because its not a common size.

Great quality finish, and it's very sturdy as well. The maple neck and alder body give great sound and feel really solid.

This guitar is one of the best I've played especially for the price. If you're looking for a great sounding, original guitar, grab the FF model.

UTILIZATION

Trs-handle is enjoyable! Not as much as it is on an ESP but it is thin enough and wide enough!
-L 'Access in Agues is pretty easy, the point of screwing of the handle and the body block a few CHAC but still quite easy!
-Neither too heavy nor too lgre, strat shape, very easy to take control!
B-small-mole ... stem vibrato too high for my taste ...
Micro-(although this is only the duncan design) so its a ***** P! For the metal is gnial! We put the bridge pickup and direct delivery! For little more clarity on neck pickup goes! the clear sound ragisse trs well and keeps a very fine sound! trs good sound!

SOUNDS

Metal-on is great! As I said! It but humbuckers and send! Ebeaucoup me who play solo, it Ragit trs Well I play blues, rock ... a bit of everything and it is still quite versatile!
We can get a good sound that passes trs sound a bit "cool" was the big metal disto well! Lgrment a lack of finesse and precision but the rest of trs good mic!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a year and I'm glad trs!
the + is that it Ragit trs well with many types of sound! ell e agressivit good yardstick and its use is trs enjoyable! form strat go anywhere, enjoyable round in touch ...
I have several ssay MODEL before such achetl'ibanez 370 aa and frankly nothing to do! the jackson Ragit much better and is much more enjoyable!
I pay 500 euros and new for this award is given! Exceeds by far it's all kinds of guitar in this price range!
If a c'tait again, I would do exactly the same choice !!!!!
