This surprisingly wonderful instrument is on loan to me, and actually belongs to the singer in my band. He picked it up at Guitar center for under 500$. I just recently joined his band and play mostly rock music. I came from a blues band and was using a Thinline Telecaster. Unfortunately my trusted Tele just didn't have the tone required so he tossed this guitar my way and I begrudgingly started to play around with it. Now, two months later I keep asking myself, Why didn't I discover these guitars earlier.

The first thing that I noticed was it's weight and balance. It is incredibly light, which makes it very comfortable on long nights. Additionaly, it is extremely well balanced, adding to its comfort.
The "Duncan Designed" pickups are awesome. Full, bright, and powerful. On my clean channel I can hit the strings softly for a nice clean tone or if I really bang them hard it gives a gritty natural overdrive. On my lead channel I can get really warm, creamy tones, just the way I like.
You get a superb finish complete with binding and an inlaid rosewood neck that has 24 (yes, count them) frets. An exceptional instrument for the price of a "plain jane" Fender or Gibson.

My only complaint was that the action was set too low, which gave a horrible fret buzz. But with the help of a handy, dandy screwdriver this problem was soon remedied.

This instrument is extremly well built, stays in tune all the way up the neck and is very pleasing to the eye.

For the price, this guitar is comparable to instruments that cost twice as much. For any musician on a budget (like there is any other kind) this is worth considering. Definetly an A+ .

I acquired this unit by begging for it. I acquired it at guitar center because I needed to be cool and get a guitar of my own. I didn't pay but my brother did he paid $230.00

I like the color of course! I like the rockin tone and I love the style its great!

I don't like about this unit is that they mistakingly gave my a junior size and I was really mad.

the construction is great I like the design on every fret and the maple neck! the quality is awsome too, its volume goes really high the body is just built tough and just enoungh for me.

I love the unit I got and am happy with my purchase well, my brother purchase.

I recentely acquired my Schecter at the local IPA. I was looking for a new guitar and I stumbled across this one. I believed I paid around 450-500 dollars for it.

I like the tone that comes out of the stock Duncan Designed pickups. I like the sleek body styling and color. Mine cam in sparkly silver. It has a good neck with great reach in the upp frets (goes to 24). Most of all I like the ability to stay in tune that it has. I will play it for a couple of hours and only have to do slight fine tuning. O and i forgot I like the tune o matic bridge and string thru body design.

There isn't much I don't like. Basically the worst thing about it is that the cover to get into the back of the guia is hard to get off after it is unscrewed.

The quality of this guitar is better than most of the guitars I own. I cam set up with little fret buzz out of the factory. I haven't had any paint chips o scratches and the neck is very good quality for a bolt on.

the bottom line is this is the best guitar for the price. If you have the money and you are looking for a quality guitar purchase a Schecter C-1 Diamond Series. (Schecterguitars.com)

Schecter did a really sweet job on this one.

I was trying to decide between 2 guitars at a local music store (matts guitar shed) and I was taken by the awesome sweetness of the sleek sound and incredible feel on the guitar. Totaling up to about 450 bucks (well spent) i took the guitar home with me, and i've been in love with it ever since.


I like the shape, the sound, the color, the incredible feel! I'll never find a love more pure and true... red or green or blue, i'm in love with you, my new schecter diamond series

well the way its set right now the strings are slightly too low, and causes a slight raddle when picking, but its no big problem that cant be fixed with ease.

If theres one word i could use to describe this guitar it would be: sleek
Its smooth, flashy color and shape attracted my eye almost immediately after i first saw it.
The different frets and strings are incredibly easy to reach, and i can increase my finger range to 7 frets less than 1/2 way down the neck.


Over all i think this is a great purchase worth all of the money i payed for it. It could use some more cool looking nobs, and switches, though.

Schecter C1 Floyd Rose, the Diamond Series.
Guitar frabriqu in Korea, 24 frets neck, sleeve end profile and flat but not as extreme as the sleeves of Ibanez Wizard (for SPEF the radius of the site so see Schecter (http://www.schecterguitars .com / ds_home_fl.htm)).
Original Floyd Rose bridge on the current model.
2 humbuckers Duncan Design HB 103 in severe and acute.
One volume knob, one tone and a 3 position selector: micro serious, serious and micro micro acute, acute micro.

UTILIZATION

The handle is very enjoyable if you love has played the profiles of this type, access to acute and excelente (it should be even better on the current model since it is round but with an al aces the acute study in which t (handle "all access") and not as round screw on mine is an older version). The guitar is well balanced and stays in place when you play standing with a strap The form is a "Start" but at the same time very DIFFERENT, I love this personal fit!
Micro, however, are a faiblare my taste, I had to design my version of Duncan SH2 and SH4, and they were not attacked prcis of that type of distortion metal.Le its future drafts, we plays a little faster, it has not happen to detach the notes for a sound precis.J 've replaced by a pair of micro EMG in 81 acute and 89 in serious and it sounds niquel! lol big sound, the table accajou resort is low and low medium so powerful sound, precision of an evil that does not forgive mistakes lol

The floyd on my guitar I was unfloyd licensed, not an original FR, it did not want the agreement and I broke the string at the bridges .... so I changed by Takeuchi ( who made the box for Floyd FR before reselling their licenses to everyone lol) and it niquel, but happiness

I put 5 because I do not know the new version but the one I had a very good buy but Luthra have to change everything else is a little abuse ...

SOUNDS

This guitar is made to shred in gros.Enfin I buy for it, I was looking for a small scratch not too expensive, ayaynt a handle end for work and have a shred of East more metal scraper.
But I precise that even with the EMG, this skyscraper is very versatile! and I go over the plan without any pb blues or jazz, as well as rock!

I put 10 because after the changes made on my own, change of micro and floyd, this skyscraper is exactly what I wanted.

OVERALL OPINION

I scratched this since last March, and I change the microphone and floyd very quickly after having reus.Donc I play with my configuration since roughly May, June and is happiness: - )

I try the Ibanez RG, but I Do not hang too much on the form, and I had a real favorite when I saw the Schecter.

The price is EXCELLENT RAPORT quality, the finishes are niquel is a nice little scratch despite the point that I stressed earlier, but I also stated that I really wanted a specific sound and powerful or modification I have made.
The new model does not have the same microphone as I had and the original floyd is a FR, so I do not just give a real opinion on it that have not tested.

If I had to buy a scratch-new for this price I buy a schecter no doubt! Other models like the EA or the classic are beautiful!

Characteristic indentations on mine except maybe the split of microphones can be a conventional pull & push at the tone knob. I actually have a version of the C1 intermediate between that of the notice and before the current versions, it has a real Floyd does not mark the key except at the 12th fret.

Channel actually quite late and unfortunately painted and varnished ... What bullshit. Just for that I take away two points! Why not a little varnish that is so comfortable and easy to play ...

-1 Also for the bending of the table that is a little cheap and not very durable.

UTILIZATION

The handle could be perfect with a suitable varnish, I plan also to have it done by a luthier. Otherwise it's a nice scratch. The shape of the body makes all the sitting and standing positions (...) with max comfort.

Access to the full is acute and ergonomics are generally good apart from a volume knob a bit too far. The ideal position is the Start of the knob that allows sound effects facilities.

The violin is well made even dry the instrument sounds great and bodes beautiful sounds.

SOUNDS

The sounds are very well made and as such allows pslit combinations nice. The Duncan design are not very accurate Hi Gain but it's still okay for use ranging from pop to rock then we must consider a change to a Di Marzio From Hell.

The microphone is placed against ultimate fairly tasteless, it's too saturated in the draft and clear ... bofff I'll replace it quickly. As for the bridge I like the sound well, it's quite round and "flexible" I really like.

OVERALL OPINION

Overall a good lens for cheap (paid € 860 new) that can be the ideal support to other micro config. Without going into extreme styles zyk, ployvalente and it is very enjoyable to play.
