At the NAMM, Vigier will display a prototype version of the Supraa, a new evolution of their Excalibur Supra model.
This prototype is equipped by a special custom HSH handwound pickup set specially made by Amber at Vigier’s request, a set which aims at delivering sweet-yet-acid round tones. It also features Vigier’s new red-toned Rock Art finish – well, isn’t this one slightly more on the acid side?…
As for a release date at your favorite retailer, this model is expected to be available “before the Summer” at a still undisclosed price. In the meantime, the prototype is to be premiered at the 2016 Winter NAMM, hall C – booth 4762 from January 21–24.
