UTILIZATION
This guitar is a killer ...
I bought it in 98. My electric guitar C'tait Premire (I started a folk) and since, it's still my prfere (requires sentimental value) for its ease of use (thank you fender) and versatility .
The neck is fast and accessible acute. The weight is ok, no pb this ct.
A trs good ergonomics throughout.
The only downside (to be fussy): the pickup selector can move a helping mdiator when you're in the middle or neck position.
SOUNDS
This guitar should (almost) all types of music.
Indeed, with both single and double pickups (duncan design please) there's no better.
Apart from the microphone of the environment that got my lack of personality (I've replaced by a dual rail GFS lil killer ... excellent!), The sound is more than adequate.
Neck pickup: bright blues and Hendrix, SRV, RHCP, ... Vraimment well as with a good crunch with a clean sound. Less well in heavy distortion (normal for a single).
Micro middle: I do not use it. Too transparent, no personality!
Micro Bridge: Long live the big rock (Nirvana, ACDC, Metallica, Led Zep etc. ...). Trs good mic, pretty hot!
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 8 years and it vraimment trs a good instrument. I will also probably buy another because I did paint the Premire and I want to make the same thing with another ... (The forums on this topic on AudioFanzine bcp me inspired!)
What I like the +: the neck and bridge pickups (all rock in a skyscraper) and spices plastic (white) that turn yellow over time (long live the vintage ...)
What I like least: The low E string that locks the bridge when I get loose and sometimes drop in D (but only occasionally and for 2 months ?!!?)
Frankly, the guitar for a idalie dbuttant!
Qq each essay I had the time and this one the most versatile silent.
The ratio quality price is excellent.
This choice I would do 1000 times if necessary!
