New Compressor announced at Dangerous Music
Dangerous Music introduces Compressor, a new 2-channel processing rack module that should be available at the beginning of next year.
Compressor uses algorithms to automatically and smartly adjust the attack and release values. Another interesting feature is the Smart Dyn Dual Slope Detection that automatically limits peaks while performing compression and an active sidechain circuit is included with Sibilance Boost, 60Hz Low-Cut and Monitoring options.
Last, a True Stereo Dual Detector allows for preserving the stereo image.
Compressor offers, along with the traditional manual gain, ratio (1:1 to 20:1), threshold (-30 to +20dB), attack (1 - 100ms) and release (10 to 500ms) controls, a Soft Knee switch and various options are available for the included VU-meters.
Compressor is expected during Q1, 2014 for the US price of $3359. Discover this new module at www.dangerousmusic.com.
