UTILIZATION
3 knobs, treshold, ratio and output, we can no longer simple. The vu-meter is used for input, output or gain change.
2 LEDs indicate whether the compression takes place, not orange, red yes.
SOUND QUALITY
Compressor very particular, I use just use "classic", but for a bass drum or snare is unique! You can really transform a kick with great resonance and sub in something with a huge attack and less bass, with everything between the two. And that, with just two knobs!
There are no plugs that does this.
OVERALL OPINION
Bought 3 years ago, I had a pair, I sold one because I use it mainly for the kick. In a config 'studio, I think a 160 is a necessary tool.
For a home studio, it gets a little expensive to use very accurate anyway.
