UTILIZATION

The configuration of the Valley Audio Dynamite compressor is pretty basic as it has knobs for threshold, release, range, and gain for each channel. It then has some other switches and metering. It is easy to get a nice tone as the inherent tone is pretty full and clean sounding. I don't have a manual for the Dynamite compressor, but it is fairly easy to use and I never had a need for one.

The sound quality of the Valley Audio Dynamite compressor is very good, and is suitable for all types of genres and instruments. I use it mostly to record drums for rock and pop style songs, but have also used it for electric guitars and bass guitar with good results. While it isn't the fullest or warmest compressor I have used, it is definitely usable and useful for a number of different applications, specifically for drums. The price is one of the best aspects of this unit, as it is reasonable for both home studio owners and professionals. All in all, the Valley Audio Dynamite compressor is a good compressor that comes at a very reasonable price.
