J used this headset for about 2 months (170 in a store).
for use guitar amp and headphone / simulation hp (guitar gibson cs356, Ibanez JS1 / DC30 Mesa Boogie amp, marshall 30th anniversary).

I was looking for the sound produced by the HP and above all respect the personality of the guitar.
-The tone of the instrument and the characteristics of the amplifier are well preserved (with a little less heat and slightly less type) but c is really very good!

- It is light, comfortable, not need much volume.

- For the sensitive people REMBOURAGE generates a small effect of contact style slight perspiration, after several hours of removing the need. too flattering to some music. not very useful for everyday use tv, pc, hifi bottom line.

I am very pleased with this headphone, knowing that I am not a specialist studio / mixing. + damage it lacks comfort for 10/10.

I just got it and I can immediately tell my dj impressions Premire use. I bought it from thomann, but hey who cares ... value for Q / P, bought to replace my left sizzled with K240M mchament (and really trsgnant dsagrable) APRS two years of service ... APRS have chauss I recognize the precision of AKG, it seems less violent on the spatial, version M sent me the low derrire the skull, it is not so bad I found it EXAGRES still is a headphone, so the spatialization is not at monitors. It seems to me that the bass is a bit boosters around 80 100 Hz (test or a mix I have fun with infra, and a CD that I know qualis in the low + high ... bah in infra, still nothing, I will continue as usual groping ... (see my monitors that n 'psa go there either) ... I find not really an ague below but rather low above ... 8 for its lack of neutrality will have to get used to. It's still agr Able to listen to music, and it does let any of his bullshit ... (besides the Groundation ing its gates have to be careful and not to overload the brass, I found that if these albums mixes well!)

I use this headset for about 1 month. I bought it to replace my old headphone Vivanco 1000 IFL has ears that fall (excellent high-end headphones for 90 years at the time of 1000 FF). Why this choice? because the reviews were good AF (good spatial rendered neutral), and also because a headphone of this type you have in the family since at least 1980 ... and still works.

But in short, listen to this wonder ... A quick comparative listening with the 1980 version ... it is incomparably better, open, accurate. Comfort is always the same, that is to say very good, even if the plastic pads are a little sweat the mammoth in the long run.

Second listen, recently performed on a hard product, for which I really a more accurate that its real (taken acoustic vocal). Disappointment!! There's too serious, but really too much (it seems a massive injection of testosterone in the male voices), and highs are a bit dull. I take the 1000 IFL Vivanco, everything falls into place and everything is consistent with the listen live [: b], and the final product mastered, the monitor speakers and hi-fi.

I tried on hard (still voice) well known to me and again, same is too low. They are not unpleasant, but invade the ear and focus attention on them. So it's certainly very convenient for a bassist to meet a bass line, but frankly, it's not neutral at all! Maybe on electronic music, the fact that serious, but taken on acoustic (jazz, classical), it's too serious!

Damned! Disappointment! I immediately think of resale.

Can I plug in my digital piano and then, finally, happiness. A round and full, very realistic. a real treat to play the piano with that thing on her head. cancel the ad. It's a shame, I only used only that, but it does really well.

In short, as every time I deviated from the basic rule base and "always listen before you buy", I was punished :-( ... but luckily I was able to ensure good conversion zinzin to AKG.

The AKG K 240 Studio's are a set of headphones that are indeed intended for use in the studio. I've owned a set of these headphones for years as my Dad has had them for a while and now I'm using them in my home studio. We used to use them for simple listening purposes, but I've found them to be further useful in my home studio for a variety of purposes, mostly for monitoring during recording. The headphones have a soft and sort of bouncy ear piece which is quite comfortable to wear, although I must say that the pair I own has quite a bit of wear and tear on them. The size of the headphones is adjustable, but it's not the best adjuster as it doesn't give you all that much flexibility. Beyond the feel and comfort of the headphones, the K 240 Studio's have a nice and full sound, with a decent amount of low end for a set of headphones. The sound isn't the best that I've heard from a set of headphones, but it's definitely accurate enough for monitoring during recording and simple listening applications. You can get a new set of these headphones for the reasonable price of $100 US dollars, and I'm pretty sure they're the same exact headphones that AKG has been making under this model name for years. I don't know exactly what year the model I have was made, but it's definitely an earlier version. I do prefer a number of different headphone models out there that are in this price range, like the Sennheiser HD 280, but it's all in the same vein and it's really just a matter of personal preference. If you're in the market for a set of high quality studio monitors, the AKG K 240 Studio's are a model you need to know about.
