I just received 4 of these headphones. I needed a small enclosed headphones quickly enough to make cab back to the home studio recording. I think they largely fulfill this role.
I have heard this morning, and I was really impressed by the sound (relative to price).
I also have a AKG K58 and a K271. of course it's not worth the 271 but not next to the K58, feels!

Unbeatable value for money. Approx. € 20 headphones, do not look any further (most of the time, that record musicians are unable to make the difference with a prestigious ... A K271 headphones for every musician would really give jam to pigs of after me)

Small reservation: Remains to be seen if it is really enough to record ended without much repisse ... (but it looks)

The HD 201 has a decent sound but they didn’t appeal to me because the bass was not that good. When playing music that didn’t have deep bass they were not too bad. But when playing bass and low frequency heavy music they didn’t perform well. The bass would get really distorted and would not be clean. Even though the frequency response went down to 21 hz they still didn’t deliver clean enough for me.
They are very comfortable and felt great on my head. I only used them a few times at a local studio. They seemed rather ‘cheap’ to me but that is because they are. They only cost around 25 bucks, most headphones in this price range are not very good at all and will not last that long. I do not see these headphones lasting a long time either. The mids and highs are pretty clean though and were not too sharp or piercing when listening to them but the bass just didn’t do it for me.
They do have a 9 foot cable on them which is great for the price they cost. They are very light and have an impedance of 24 ohms. They do not come with a ¼ adapter nor do they have a “coiled” cable. They cable is straight and the style of them is circumaural. If the bass response was a little cleaner and wider I would think these headphones could be the best headphones under 50 dollars. But because the bass can get sloppy when turned up I would have to say it is better to just go with a cheaper pair of Sony headphones. The bass in the HD 201 sound like the bass in a cheap pair of head phones that can be purchase at any store. If your budget doesn’t allow you to spend more money then look into some of the inexpensive Shure or Sony headphones for a better bass response.

Purchased to replace a Beats Dr Dre I found at the his atrocious (I have written a review on here even). I was angry with myself is rolled and have spent many a headphone as bad (the Beats), so I have voluntarily decided to spend very little for his replacement, and then I have to admit that the mission was filled ... Not even 20 €! Because its use is limited to listening to music on computer or ipod / iphone, there was no big risk.

The manufacturing quality of the HD 201 is actually quite average, the materials used seem fairly low so that the headphone does not breathe the rugged durability. However, after over a year of use, it is always full and it still fulfills its role without having taken particular care. In addition, it is very light for this type of headphone, which is a positive point.

What is more surprising with this headphone is the relative quality of the sound it delivers. It supports easy comparison with some headsets five times more than him! The sound is balanced, never aggressive, not too low exacerbated (as is unfortunately the case with many headsets these days). Hi-Fi listening very honest what ... However, it goes without saying that it has no place in my studio, it is not made for that! It is just a bit in power and I guess that would accommodate DJs in badly too. But as long as confined to the mere listening to music, it is more than enough!

The quality / price is very good in my opinion, even without trying all headphones in this price range, I am sure he is one of the best.

Before the purchase, no I had not tried a lot, but since I've tried a few.

The headphone is light, the base is a headset instead of listening to hi-fi for DJing, so the insulation is not bad but could be improved. The thing about the HD201 is that in any of these HD (so called) headphones it seems that you get what you pay for. Plastic made to break. Not used in any PRO STUDIO ROOMS that are serious about your headphone mixes and we are www.chrislieckstudios.com. I think that you need invest more and get a more flat pair of headphones such as the AKG 240's. Again these can't take a great deal of volume without breaking up. This new bread of phones if for more amateur recording. Average at best. These phones have a bump so that if you are recording a vocalist that hears more high mid response it that bump at 50hz or in that basic area will cover up that mix that you need to cut vocals. I like phones to have cuts if anything at that lower frequency so that when you are tracking they vocalist you don't have to have a separate headphone EQ for the singer. I have to do that a great deal with newer so called HD phones. I also like to match phones meaning if I have three pairs of headphones in my studio I want them all to be the same. I don't want to have two singers in the booth and one has a lower volume than that others. Also these phones are not as sturdy as I would like. I have read other reviews of these whereby they state that they are sturdy and I find that the cheaper the headphone the more likely it will break upon impact to the ground. Most singers drop their headphones all the time and the few times these headphones fell I was nervous that they were done. Back to the sound, I was just not that impressed with any one thing with these phones. Isolation was minimum thus drummers would not like them, and the fact that they are not that isolated is not a good thing. We used them just the other day on a drum live session and I had to move to a set of vic firth for the drummer to hear the click drum.
No on the other side my engineer likes them a bit more than I do so I have them an average rating as he likes this line of headphones and he works at the Guitar Center so he gets to hear a great deal of all of the new headphones either before they come out or when they are in the store. Normally I hear from him as to liking a specific set of phones. He will call me and rave about them. I did not get that call on these headphones and the reason we had a pair is s student left them at the studio and we started using them in the C room for a while. The student was mixing on them and never mix on headphones if possible. That is not a great idea for any mixing engineer. I would just invest in good pair that standard producers and engineers like the AKG 240s or any great AKG line that is commonly used by professionals.

Used for about 2 years. The date is approximate and quoted the price of any way that is currently on the internet.
What is so special that you love the most, least? Its spectrum is the most regular. No preferred frequencies. Good definition for the price.
The least. For much more expensive one can find sounds each time renewed registration in registration.
Before I had an Philips of the same price range favoring low tapageuses.Ici a little bass are present without masking the rest of the spectrum.
You will not find the shimmering sound and deep bass of a beyer 990 (listened to a store and that m 'has stuck) but the price is multiplied by about 5AU minimum.

It is very good! It is certainly not a monitoring headphones but, for beginners or even if you can not afford, it's better than the headphones.
This headphone does not cover very well the serious, the medium, and treble boost, but the sound is clear.

For this price I think Sennheiser is a trusted brand because it is also that of pro headphones, and with it can appreciate music and make the lightweight mix.

I buy there is less than a week.
I thought that buying a sennheiser (even the low end) would be ca anything other than my old Phillips bought in the same store.

but voila, it trslger I grant you, the foam head for an ESR is hard but hey it's going it's pretty comfortable (for this range). + Very comfortable unlike what some people think. Given its price is a good trs.
+ Qualit manufacturing fine for this price range. Seennheiser Bacle its sries rarely.

I have tried many brands and quite DIFFERENT MODELS: Audio Technica, Sony, AKG, Creative (who make headphones more respectable) and a lot of Sennheiser MODELS.

How do you report qualitprix?
The ratio quality price is not bad, but for a few dollars more there are MODELS INTERESTED more and better made. And when I say a few euros, I do not mean 50 euros more but 10 euros maximum.
If you or your DJ you're looking for headphones for monitoring low-end, go your way ...
But rest assured, it will rev much the case in "back-musicians," and comfort of the headphone is a really good point.

The report quality money. The neutrality sound for the price. Comfort quite satisfactory although it closed with a headphone headsets not big trs (coupling despite this circum-aural).

I was looking for a versatile stereo headset ridiculous price with a little sound insulation.
