How long you use it?

8 months to the mix and sometimes for the monitoring

Did you tried many other models before buying it?

Of HDJ500, 1000.2000 and the Monster beats by dre Studio and Sennheiser HD202. I want to say that these headphones were tested in a few hours of knowledge except the last one I owned for mobile use.

What is so special that you love the most, least?

The most:

+ Clearly the sound that is very very good and dynamic
+ The low steady but relatively neutral spectrum
+ The possibility of redress if something goes wrong with the audio cable or other
+ Ease of use
+ Printing strength relative to the headphone pioneer
+ Insulation

Cons:

- Design a little older (which may be a point to consider for those who want a fashionable headphone)
- A non-removable cable


How would you rate the quality / price? With experience, you do again this choice?

Yes yes and yes again! I am delighted the value for money is very good. Not to be forgotten is that there are models HD25 at prices more affordable with straight-through cables.

I use it for two years now, in control but also headphones as headphones for iPod, which also allows me to throw one more on my ear mix.

Although isolated from the outside and delivering a big noise, these headphones do not be ashamed in front side insulation models using the noise canceling. His side, listening is very compact (spectrum collected enough and collected enough sound image), the opposite of what you can hear a Beyer DT770 for example, and the bottom is very present. I try an old Sennheiser model (Open Hifi), Sennheiser + low-end (between 50-100 ...) and many other ... (DJ headphones shut down / mid-range)

For those who hsite with the "Beat" By Dr. Dre is not photo:
Beat a further increase its moin + low and even not clear look at Sennheiser. That's what my ear and my brain is reflected in the comparison of my config and the sound I used to cost.
Here APRS j'espre c all the world at least its the SAR is a fad and blingbling CHRE costs far ...

Myself I have experienced:

I bought these headphones yesterday.
I used a PS 25 HD ...

The rendering is even more impressive with this model. The pressure is enormous (really serious attention to punchy!)

What I like: this is a closed headphone that 'sounds' right!

With his curly cord, I lug around every day: it's solid (nothing to do with the Grado that point of view, which are really more comfortable in a salon!).

Ideal PA. To mix (studio, not a DJ, in my case), well, that's all I know headphones: beware. We tend to listen harder and hear differently than on a (good) pair of monitors.

Not before I had a philips oriented rather HIFI. That's my opinion that turned to this hd 25.

Most is the deep well, the effect loudness, bass and treble emphasized. The sound and beat up for so-called deaf, I assure you that I're quiet as the headphone of the potato.

The fewer the left side of L and R the right side that are very poorly reported. It was quickly reversed as the cable enters the right side R of the headphone, while the more often it is the left side L.
And then the big cable spiral eventually gets tired more quickly and become very beautiful.

Yes I will ever be the same choice, except that I have a bad contact on the cable of the headphones. Nothing nasty. A short pressure on cable and I'm quiet for a while.

Warning this is not a headphone mixed, it is not neutral but very flattering, I use it to customers in return headphone. they feel comfortable. These headphones have a feeling of power. Kiffent they hear their music and their voice in it.

Most +:
A headphone neutral. All frequencies, the dynamics, the details are present. There is nothing to say is my essential tools from my monitor. However, to avoid surprises on a sound that has a lot of transition between 2-8kHz, you must obligatorily monitoring. I had many times the surprises that a Bassdrum (for example) do not sound the same as on my monitor.
Mix side. It's very nice. No great difficulty locating sounds in space.

The -: A headphone tiring. there is enormous pressure on the ears. after 2 hours the headache is assured. It should also avoid going strong, it can quickly become dull!

I've never had Occasions acquire another headphone. The Beyer Dynamic appear to be a good alternative.

The value for money is more than excellent, and with experience I will ever be the choice.
