I use this headset for over 3 years.
I find it quite analytical but also very nice in a home listening. I like especially the treble and midrange treble that headphone which I find quite accurate, but especially her stereo that allows me to check my mixes in final phase ...
What I like least that is his ability to deceive us as part of a mix with headphones on percussion instruments (eg drum mixer). Entirely by mixing a track with this headphone we will quickly to get a good result has the listening, but only with this headphone ^ ^ (do not rely on the low frequency of these headphones as part of a mix, a return of the dynamics not always significant, and low enough hard mediums to analyze).
On the other hand the quality of plastic that connects the atria and the frame is not good, my headphone broke on both sides of the same way (after 2 years and 3 years of intensive use anyway, but At this price we would have liked Sony opts instead for a more imposing mechanical as 7509). I met several people who had experienced a similar problem, however mine is still in use since patched up home!
In conclusion I would say that, despite the inaccuracies that I have noted above, the value price of these headphones is great, there is still more affordable that a 7509 (it is not worse, just different), but beware this headphone is fragile!
