« Cheap and it works »
Published on 10/12/11 at 12:39This is a semi-closed headphone showing the physical safety of AKG headphones.
For 20 euros you'll have what looks like a headphone professional.
The HD681 is doing pretty well.
Level Sound: The whole is fairly balanced, we have some bass, a small hollow in the lower midrange and a lot of upper midrange. Actually it does not go very low but this is enough: it is better to be little lower than a lot of synth basses and drooling. To listen to music should be good. For mixing, in addition to a monitor it does its job, it is clear if one is not the ends of the spectrum.
Comfort level is not too bad, we'll even say that it allows itself to be rather good health. Wear it over a half hour dune is however painful for the ear.
The headphones are robust, I walked several times over, I crashed in bags in my luggage and it still works without being (too) damaged.
I am satisfied, for 20 euros I think you will not find anything better.
