Technics has been making musical instruments and equipment longer than just about anyone else and they know what they are doing. Their audio and electronic products are always built well and are aimed to last a long time without compromising quality. If you are looking for a set of headphones to use for your home or professional studio, the RP F600’s studio headphones are a great choice for monitoring during recording sessions. These are worth every penny they cost.

These headphones surprised me especially considering I had always been disappointed by this brand. Very pure and authentic sound. The response is very accurate (I can hear things I couldn't before) and not aggressive. The mid and high frequency ranges are perfect. The low frequency range sounds very round, deep and accurate. It is very pleasant but a bit too loud. The stereo imaging is bit too narrow. Both last points are the reason I give them 7/10 and why I recommend them for modern pop music rather than jazz or classical music (although considering its value for money, it's also a good choice for these music styles). These headphones allowed me to hear (for the first time ever) the difference between a compressed audio format and a "lossless" format. In short, these headphones don't lie: they sound good with good recordings and bad with bad recordings! MP3 fans should watch out for them!

Pros: accurate response. Cons: lows are a bit overemphasized.

I had planned to buy the Koss UR-40 because of the good reviews in the press. But they disappointed me and I chose these instead.

I found it amazing that in this price range (just under € 60 including delivery), a closed headphone can be as comfortable and make it sound as good ...
Warning against by it faithfully reproduces very very very sound: So, if you want to ban headphones to listen to your MP3 player on the street. It will focus on all preprod defects and / or compression.
Finally, if you need a headphone to the production (mix etc) and you're slammed into the computer and sound card (like me, what ^ ^), this product will amaze you with its overall level .. .
Otherwise, the only downside that will affect my note: the cable is very long (3 meters) and very late ... I would see maybe a few times if it is possible to change it, just to have less signal loss and therefore: better sound returned!

No, only a few, but without much conviction in this price range ...
In fact this model I was advised by a friend. I tried his config output from my MacBook / Interface, and compared with my old config and antediluvian Pentium4 / integrated sound card, and the difference is striking!
At least I know that if what I do sounds bad to the headphone, here will sound bad at all. So if it sounds deadly ... which is quite reassuring ...
So, who can not afford to pay me some great monitoring speakers (for now it's stereo) or headphones at € 200, I jumped at the chance and I can rework the mix without problem to identify defects that were hidden in direct broadcast ... ^ ^
