Features correct but not great, at least for me nothing that justifies its price. Certainly there is a section effect, but base effects, very little accurate and drown the sound rather than increase it. The analog mode boost is a joke and does not bring any of the violent attack specific to analog, it only swell the sound, like a simple equalizer will. Soundiver version of Virus C seems quite well done although I'm not served.

UTILIZATION

The manual is in English and that's a shame. The knobs are not infinite so much hassle to make precise adjustments or to live for all wholesale. So there is the solution to go through the menus, but this time the bias'm saying analogue of "one knob / action, no longer hold.
The sound does not motivate me so I always seem to trample with the synth, this is rarely the thrill, it appears from the sounds we heard, classics of the past 20 years, or sounds of techno used nowadays, but nothing too original.

SOUNDS

Well finally the section that interests me. This synth is surnoté premium and I made the mistake of following the trend and pay me the synth that everyone loves, and from the first minute of use I realized my mistake. This synth has absolutely no personality! The sound is neutral, erased. I held for over six months to create all the sounds I wanted, but the sound is like ears plugged, you fouttez that sound make you feel you just do the concepts of sound. The water in the Oberheim, lead the violent, the arpégiattor 80 'etc etc ...
This synth is a dead chameleon, he is certainly capable of doing the splits between house, trance and electro in 80 years but he does not punch. Try a lead or a waldorf north and you'll see the difference. The sound is not big for a sub! When not immersed in the icy reverb, it sounds pokey, and creaking, no fat, it is laser cut.
So one might say that this synth is biased but digital nan, not even his biases is to emulate analog synths, with its'm called the moog filter and 150-page manual on how to of analog synthesis. Result when one wants to try to do something digital or digital, the virus because it does what it is, a digital synth (yeah I know analog synthesis, MOUAHA ah ah, great), but it does hearted as he ass between two chairs! It has neither the personality of a waldorf or the edge of a keyboard, to name a few, and that cost dailleurs two to three times cheaper.

OVERALL OPINION

The value for money people come dailleurs. The big question now for many people is "Do I finally can not do everything in software?
I would say it depends for what.
This synth is very popular with all the people who make the trance, a musical style or the fact that ultimately have no personality synth is almost a good point (ouuuuh the villain).
If you want to make music with an artistic bias cut well forget it look elsewhere.
If you're a fan of digital sound of soft, stay there, the virus you nothing.
So yes it sounds better in a soft pure tone is obvious, but it has no personality. Potato and a soft sound with good sound processing gear behind that makes up the personality not.
So do the math at the price it sells today, a good soft, or a waldorf / keyboard, between 400 and 500 euros and you have everything you need. Do not think the price is justified listen to demos and other waldorf made by multiform and you will see they have nothing to be ashamed.
I do not probably do it again this choice dailleurs I just sell it!
Finally, maybe my opinion will like the troublemaker of service that probably says anything since everyone is dythirambique, anyway you can not say that you did not warned
I confess to have noticed a little hard but it is to restore the middle now seems more correct.
