It's a nice rack red with 5 assignable knobs and push buttons for accessing sound libraries and menus.
It is mutitimbrale 16 channels and has an effect section can be somewhat rougher compared to what is done today, but good quality and can be quite usable.

There are 8 banks of 128 sounds but Seume 2 are programmable.

It corresponds to the generation B Virus Even former product is already old but still sounds very honorably compared to more recent products of the brand. There are many banks of sounds available on the Access to banks and even newer products fit smoothly on Miss Virus rack.

UTILIZATION

It is easy to implement with all PCs, sequencer, keyboard master and producer. The edition was through the small LCD screen is possible but inconvenient for editions of complex sounds. It is better to go through an editor because there are a large number of parameters.

SOUNDS

The range of possible sounds is quite large and can accommodate a variety of styles although its role is in emulation of synthesizer sounds Anloga for electronic music. it does sound a bit organic, deep well filled with a mix. Some factory sounds are a bit muddy and lacks punch and originality. But there are some very good banks with very sound and dynamic pechus that have nothing to envy in his more recent generations.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 6 or 7 years and I do not part with it. It has a beautiful personality would hate that some may not be. But it sounds like a virus and quite close to the most recent models.
I use it in a home studio and has never caused problems. Reliable, bug-free, fairly robust construction in metal housing, it has 2 inputs and 2 outputs. Can the user's browser to process external signals and integrated function vocoder.
On the second hand market value for price is excellent so if you do not know Access is a good introduction to the brand products.
