OVERALL OPINION

Good rack

UTILIZATION

The config is rather simple, even if it requires a lot of manipulations to navigate from one setting to another (the machine has four arrows and 4 pottards for editing).
Editing sounds is very good, complete, but the editing of effects is a nightmare for me, because of the independent effects of routing routing the patch.
The manual is clear but has some shortcomings, swift addressed by manipulating the beast.
Even if we get to the menu navigation, the organization of these menus is very logical.

The filters are good, we have 2 filters per instrument (LP, HP, BP, Notch and Comb), plus ADSR ...

I have difficulty with the effects, I use the machine in multiplayer mode, and the routing of FX is a bit unusual, in fact (ie we can assign only the first 8 individual FX instruments a multi, the FX1 is independent of the route on which it applies ...) I finally understood not yet to use the effects in an optimal way.

I use it for various prods, whether for good bass on the electrodub, the lead, tablecloths completions through modulation crazy ... on the other hand I have a little hard to get out on sounds more "light" genres bells, pianos, etc ...

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for three months, and I love the sound, ease of access to editing parameters once the matrix grip ...
I bought this synth without trying, simply on the reputation waldorf, in addition to a Kstation I found too "clean" and it was the right choice.

I bought € 410 in Germany, nine, and Waldorf is "reborn" (it's not very pretty in French), which reconvened last ...
I do it again this choice with his eyes closed, I grew a lot thanks to this synthesis in micro Q.

This is an incredibly lightweight rack, and takes up little space, trs short. The red knob is very nice, it's like Christmas every day N'mpche but it is convenient.

UTILIZATION

I find it fairly simple to use gnral, a rose can travel on the menus, and endless knobs to change the parameter. If you want to go further, there is always the edit, but then the tiny screen (you get used to large now) is not very comfortable, but all the same use.

Ergonomics is not badly made, a is not a virus or Nordlead, but OK. The manual is well done (in German / English c everything, but readable).

SOUNDS

The sounds have a very special grain. The arpges I was not mad but the ground, and lead are stupfiants and the possibility of crushing. It sounds cold, but it is a finely crafted electronic cold, it sounds very analog in any case, with lots of little default in the sound, a sound quite dirty, the diffrent Nordlead (warmer but cleaner ) or the virus.

The factory sounds are quite Ingala, but it is very easy to make the sounds, or by downloading on the net (the site of Waldorf is full of good sounds, there are more that do his march.

(I rarely put 10 here, I put 9 because this synth has so much personality it's sometimes difficult to get out of waldorf style)

OVERALL OPINION

I have a few months, but I have looked on it as rcemment (I gave the bone day and got in the ballad sound banks gratos the net).

I have a Nordlead and viruses, the Waldorf compltent well. But the virus indigo (the B) remains my prfr then waldorf Nordlead and then. The ratio quality price is right. I mostly background music, and industrial atmosphrique, waldorf and suits me perfectly, I think I even find a secondhand one microwave, I heard the most good!
