I just received my pair of S-5000 sail 1 week. I have only one word: OUTSTANDING! these are real race bx
the board takes a little patience before a perfect grip, but quickly found the touch vinyl. can scratch the front-rear, but especially the pre-scratch before.
Technically dveloppe that cdj1000mk2 pioneer home, they are also less intuitive. the search function allows an idle time rl effect on which you can add a mirror effect rather nice but not worth the effect sampler that proposes the break-mk2 Pioneer (for those who know).
This board is recommending premium for the discerning who will need to find touch vinyl (my case) twice as high technology.
I deprecated the purchase of this board or who dcouvrent dbutent in the mix because of its complexity it can be daunting one.
After a few days of use fun, the investment is worth it for anyone who takes the time to discovering the (too?) Many functions. alpha-track is simply stunning and we quickly became addicted (mirror effect mix)
to regret a training plateau by kouroi, which is not Gnant when we do Scratch all is not (eg electro).
To finish this plate still has a bright future ahead of it (nbreux updates on denondj.com) from the s-3500 that just came out. S-3500 offers a good trs support mp3, a direct drive of the plate, but not the AlphaTrack, so the choice is yours.
Besides, I put my 9 / 10 because we DENON reserve of good surprises for next year. In this regard DENON could leave the ending for DN-S5500, which would correct all the (small) default of S5000 (~ March-April 2006).
